This view of the White River in northern Colorado has been the subject of several of my 0n-location paintings. I can set up in the shade of a large willow tree, with our motor home just behind me in the town park campground. Nearby are marmots, water birds, dogs, wading children, paddle-boarders, people fishing. But not multitudes. What's not to like.
